40% in + 2 for those students who have passed + 2 under Commerce Group. In case of girls students, 33% in +2 are required. (Arts and Science Students with 45% marks can join B.Com 1st year, provided they have passed Mathematics/Economics at +2 level. Relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility required will be allowed for SC/ST candidates in B.Com 1st year.

Eligibility Conditions for B.Com

  • Admission will be strictly on fulfillment of eligibility condition.
  • Any gap in the academic career of an applicant must be supported by documentary. evidence (Attach Affidavit).
  • Failed or Compartment candidates from other colleges will not be admitted.
  • The students of National Open School will be admitted provided they have secured requisite marks in all the five subjects. Students coming from Vocational stream are eligible for admission.
  • Application form must be filled properly, complete in all respects and submitted along with the following documents:
  • Self attested copy of original character certificate from the last attended institution .In case of gap, Affidavit from Tehsildar for gap year must be produced and character certificate Self attested copy of Original Character Certificate from the last attended institution. In case should be issued either by village Pradhan or Garetted Officer the validity of Character Certificate is six months only.

 

  • Self attested copy of detailed marks card of the previous examination last attended.
  • Self attested copy of Matriculation Examination/date of birth certificate.
  • Two Passport size photographs (one pasted on Bio data card, one pasted on the admission form.
  • Documentary proof be attached for SC/ST/Physically Challenged, Sports person or cultural Activities.
  • Himachali Girl students seeking admission in any class must attach an attested copy of H.P. Bonafide certificate to avail themselves of fee-concession. (Tuition Fee only).
  • A student must produce original certificates at the time of admission.
  • In the absence of actual marks sheet from Univ./Board in respect of +2 or equivalent exam where the result is shown in grades/standards the minimum percentage of marks for the each subject given in standard will be taken into consideration for determining eligibility.
  • The admission schedule notified by the university will be strictly adhered to. No relaxation will be given in this regard.
  • Not with standing eligibility for admission, the Principal can refuse admission if the conduct of a student has not been up to the mark during past years.
  • Admission of a student is liable to be cancelled if he/she furnishes incomplete/wrong/false information or in case of concealment of facts. Disciplinary action will also be taken against such candidates.
  • All admissions are provisional till these are confirmed/approved by the University and the college will assume no responsibility for non-approval of a particular case for any reason, including equivalence cases.
  • Rules for admission are subject to change as per their IPU notifications from time to time.
  • Initially, all admissions will be provisional (i.e. subject to the approval of HP University).
  • The Principal reserves the right to disallow or cancel any admission.
  • The decision of the Principal will be final in the matter of admission and he has the power to refuse or terminate any admission without assigning any reason.
